The advance booking report for the film’s first day is now available, providing initial insights into its performance.
The All India advance booking gross for Akhanda 2: Thaandavam (Telugu 2D format) on day one stands at ₹6210496.8 without accounting for block seats. This amount equates to ₹62.1 Lac.
The report indicates that 29,159 tickets have been sold across 1211 shows nationwide for the Telugu 2D version.
Crucially, when factoring in block seats, the total first-day advance booking gross surges to ₹13426076, or ₹1.34 Crore.
Andhra Pradesh leads the advance booking chart with a gross of ₹1.09 Cr (with block seats), contributing the largest number of shows at 878, and recording 16% real occupancy.
Karnataka shows the highest real occupancy among major regions at 28%, securing ₹20.35 Lac (with block seats) across 265 shows.

The detailed regional reports highlight key urban centers and their contributions to the Telugu 2D advance booking:
• Guntur showed a strong early pace, recording the highest real occupancy at 33% across 56 shows, grossing ₹7.8 Lac (with block seats).
• Bengaluru contributed significantly to the gross, totaling ₹18.55 Lac (with block seats) with 20% real occupancy across 193 shows.
• Vizag-Visakhapatnam reported ₹16.26 Lac (with block seats) with 21% real occupancy across 158 shows.
• Kakinada grossed ₹4.57 Lac (with block seats) with 12% real occupancy across 33 shows.
• Nellore reported ₹1.89 Lac (with block seats) with 25% real occupancy across 10 shows.
Other regions also contributed, including Chennai (₹3.32 Lac, 7% occupancy) and Vijayawada (₹1.01 Lac, 10% occupancy).
