Iconic warriors return — Prabhas, Rana, and Sathyaraj in Baahubali's grand saga
South India’s biggest cinematic saga Baahubali has completed 10 glorious years today. On this occasion, lead star Prabhas has made a big announcement that has fans buzzing with excitement — Baahubali: The Epic Saga is coming back to theatres across the world on October 31, 2025!
But wait — is this the third part of Baahubali? Here’s what you need to know.
On the 10th anniversary of the first Baahubali film, Prabhas took to Instagram and wrote:
“10 years ago, a question united the nation… Now the question and the answer return together in ONE grand epic. BaahubaliTheEpic releases worldwide on October 31st, 2025.“
This post refers to the famous question that gripped India back in 2015: “Katappa ne Baahubali ko kyun maara?” (Why did Katappa kill Baahubali?) — a question that made Baahubali a cultural phenomenon.
The Baahubali Epic Saga will include both films — Baahubali: The Beginning (2015) and Baahubali 2: The Conclusion (2017) — screened together as one grand cinematic experience. It’s a celebration of the franchise’s legacy and a treat for new and old fans alike.
This special release is expected to feature both parts seamlessly edited, offering a fresh viewing experience with enhanced visuals and sound.
Although fans were hoping for Baahubali 3, this announcement does not confirm a new chapter or sequel. Instead, it is a reunion of Parts 1 and 2, merged into a single cinematic presentation.
However, the buzz around Baahubali 3 is growing. The timing of this announcement and the use of words like “epic” and “return” have sparked speculation that something more could be in development.
Directed by S.S. Rajamouli, the first Baahubali film was released on July 10, 2015, and changed the course of Indian cinema. The second part, released in 2017, broke box office records and became one of the highest-grossing Indian films ever.
The powerful performances by Prabhas (as Amarendra and Mahendra Baahubali) and Rana Daggubati (as Bhallaladeva), along with the film’s storytelling and scale, turned Baahubali into a global blockbuster.
While Baahubali 3 remains unconfirmed, the re-release of the Baahubali Epic Saga is an exciting gift for fans. Watching both parts back-to-back in theatres is sure to be a larger-than-life experience.
October 31, 2025 – Baahubali returns to the big screen!
No, Baahubali 3 is not confirmed yet. The current announcement is about the re-release of Baahubali 1 & 2 as a combined epic.
It will release worldwide on 31st October 2025.
It’s a special screening of both Baahubali films edited together to create one grand movie experience.
