Border 2 has made a promising start at the Indian box office on its opening day. According to Sacnilk, the film has collected around ₹17.64 crore India net across all languages on Day 1, as per live data available till 7:12 PM. The film is expected to see further growth by the end of the day, especially with night show data yet to be added.
The Anurag Singh–directed war drama registered an overall 26.78% Hindi occupancy on Friday, January 23, 2026. While morning shows started on a modest note, occupancy improved steadily through the day, with evening shows touching 34.55%, indicating strong spot bookings and positive audience interest.
Major regions like NCR, Jaipur, Kolkata, Chennai, and Chandigarh reported encouraging occupancy levels, particularly during afternoon and evening shows. Premium formats such as 4DX also showed decent traction in select cities, while IMAX and Dolby Cine remained limited due to fewer shows.
