Bollywood’s patriotic war drama Border 2 has carved out a sensational start to its fifth day at the box office, with Koimoi reporting a blockbuster-style advance booking surge even on a regular Tuesday. According to the latest box office update from Koimoi, the Sunny Deol, Varun Dhawan, Diljit Dosanjh, and Ahan Shetty-led sequel has already sold an impressive 3.12 lakh tickets in advance across India for Day 5 screenings — a clear sign of strong audience demand even as the extended holiday weekend recedes.

Advance Booking Buzz: Solid Numbers on a Working Day

Despite Tuesday being a weekday with no special holiday advantage, Koimoi notes that Border 2 managed to register advance bookings worth approximately ₹7.96 crore gross (excluding blocked seats), with the 3.12 lakh ticket figure coming from around 15,600 shows nationwide. Of these, over 1.13 lakh tickets were sold through major national chains including PVR, INOX and Cinepolis, proving the film’s broad appeal across both multiplexes and single-screen circuits.

What It Means for Day 5 and Beyond

Industry trackers quoted by Koimoi suggest that based on these advance booking trends, Border 2 could potentially earn around ₹15–17 crore on Tuesday itself, keeping the momentum alive after a mammoth opening weekend. With competition limited mainly to Dhurandhar at the box office, sustained word of mouth and consistent footfalls could help Border 2 continue its climb toward becoming one of the biggest hits of the year.

Steady Run for a Blockbuster

Koimoi further observes that after the film’s strong launch and robust long-weekend performance, what matters now is weekday consistency — and early signals point to Border 2 delivering just that. If the film maintains its pace, it looks well-positioned to enter the coveted ₹200 crore club in just five days, a milestone few Hindi films achieve this early in their theatrical run.
