After creating waves at the box office in 2025, the spy action franchise Dhurandhar is gearing up for its much-anticipated return. Dhurandhar 2: The Revenge, headlined by Ranveer Singh, is scheduled to hit theatres on March 19, 2026. The sequel has already generated massive buzz, especially after its teaser received a strong response from audiences.

According to the latest industry updates, the official trailer of Dhurandhar 2 is likely to premiere on March 3. Sources suggest that the trailer will showcase Ranveer Singh in a fierce, high-octane action avatar, hinting that the sequel will scale up both in terms of action and storytelling. The makers are reportedly positioning the film as a grand cinematic spectacle, promising a more intense and expansive narrative than the first installment.

One of the biggest talking points surrounding the film is its duration. Director Aditya Dhar has reportedly locked the runtime at 3 hours and 55 minutes. With this length, Dhurandhar 2 becomes one of the longest Hindi films ever made. It now stands among epic-length titles such as Tamas, LOC: Kargil, Mera Naam Joker, and Sangam, which are known for their extended runtimes.

Produced by Jio Studios in collaboration with B62 Studios, the sequel continues the story from where the first film concluded. The core cast returns, including Ranveer Singh alongside Sanjay Dutt, Arjun Rampal, R. Madhavan, Sara Arjun, and Rakesh Bedi. The film also introduces new characters to expand its spy universe.

Reports indicate that Yami Gautam will feature in a special appearance, with her character playing a pivotal and action-driven role in the storyline. There is also speculation that Akshaye Khanna could appear in flashback sequences, although this has not been officially confirmed.

Dhurandhar 2: The Revenge is slated for a theatrical release on March 19, 2026, where it is expected to face stiff competition from Yash’s Toxic. With a nearly four-hour runtime, a star-studded ensemble, and promises of amplified action, the sequel is shaping up to be one of the biggest cinematic events of the year.
