The blockbuster spy thriller Dhurandhar is making a return to theatres ahead of the release of its sequel Dhurandhar: The Revenge. The makers have decided to re-release the first installment so that fans can relive the story on the big screen before the next chapter arrives.
The film has been re-released worldwide on March 13, giving audiences a chance to experience the action-packed story again in cinemas.

According to the announcement, the film has returned to theatres with a massive re-release plan. The movie is being screened on more than 1000 screens with over 1250 shows worldwide.
Actor Ranveer Singh also shared the news on social media, hinting at the excitement surrounding the franchise. In his message, he described the re-release as a powerful buildup before the “storm” of the sequel arrives.

Apart from Ranveer Singh, the film features a powerful ensemble cast including Sanjay Dutt, Akshaye Khanna, R. Madhavan, and Arjun Rampal.

The second chapter of the franchise, Dhurandhar: The Revenge, is scheduled for a worldwide theatrical release on March 19, 2026.
Before its global launch, special premiere shows will be held on March 18 in the United States and Canada.
The sequel has been written, directed, and produced by Aditya Dhar, while Jyoti Deshpande and Lokesh Dhar serve as co-producers.
