Actor and director Rishab Shetty’s film, Kantara Chapter 1, is currently performing exceptionally well at the Hindi box office. According to box office reports, the film earned ₹23 crore (230 million rupees) on Sunday, an increase of approximately 15% from Saturday’s ₹20 crore (200 million rupees). Audiences remain enthusiastic about the film, especially in the Hindi belt, receiving a strong response.
Produced under the banner of Homble Films, the film has crossed the ₹75 crore (net) mark in four days, while its gross collection has reached ₹88.50 crore (885 million rupees). The film’s impressive performance clearly indicates that it has proven to be a hit with audiences. All eyes are now on Monday’s business, which will determine the film’s long run.
The film has surpassed several Bollywood films in its first four days. If collections continue to grow at this pace, Kantara Chapter 1 could soon join the 100 crore club.
Kantara Chapter 1 has become the highest-grossing South Indian film of 2025 so far. It has surpassed Ajay Devgn’s Raid 2 to become the sixth-highest opening weekend film.
