Saiyaara UK Box Office Collection: Saiyaara Crosses £3 Million in UK, Poised to Surpass Jawan at Ticket Windows

Yash Raj Films’ musical Saiyaara has set new benchmarks at the UK box office. With £19,000 collected on its sixth Friday, the film’s overall earnings have reached £3.008 million. This makes it only the third Indian film to breach the £3 million mark in the United Kingdom, a rare milestone in overseas markets.

Position Among All-Time Top Grossers

Currently, Saiyaara holds the third spot among the highest-grossing Indian films in the UK. It trails behind Shah Rukh Khan’s Pathaan (£4.38 million) and Jawan (£3.10 million). However, at its present pace, the film is set to surpass Jawan by Monday, climbing into second place on the all-time box office list.

Weekly Collection Records

What makes Saiyaara’s run remarkable is its dominance across multiple weeks:

  • Week One: £543,000
  • Week Two: £1,017,000 (Record)
  • Week Three: £834,000 (Record)
  • Week Four: £414,000 (Record)
  • Week Five: £179,000
  • Sixth Friday: £19,000
  • Total: £3,008,000

The film currently holds the record for the highest-ever second, third, and fourth-week collections by an Indian movie in the UK. Even during its fifth week, despite competition from new releases like War 2 and CoolieSaiyaara managed the second-best fifth week ever seen by an Indian release in the region.

Overseas Response Beyond UK

Internationally, Saiyaara has performed impressively with global earnings of $19 million so far. The UK remains its strongest overseas market, followed by the UAE. Interestingly, the UK—once the prime market for Hindi films before witnessing a decline in the 2010s—has found renewed momentum with Saiyaara. Industry observers believe the film has revived the golden era of Bollywood’s strong UK presence.

Looking Ahead

With a promising sixth week underway, Saiyaara is expected to set additional records in the UK. If momentum continues, it won’t be surprising if the film strengthens its hold not only in overseas markets but also in Bollywood’s box office history as one of the most celebrated global performers.
