Superstar Aamir Khan and Genelia D’Souza’s latest family entertainer Sitaare Zameen Par continues its successful run at the Indian box office. After a steady third week, the film has officially entered the elite 150 crore net club in India — a milestone achieved by only 65 Hindi films so far.

Directed by RS Prasanna, Sitaare Zameen Par raked in around ₹19 crores net in its third week, despite a 60% drop from its second-week earnings. This decline is steeper than the 47.69% dip observed between the first and second weeks, hinting that the film’s momentum is slowing due to new competition.
Still, the film stands tall with a total India net collection of ₹154 crores after 3 weeks.
With this strong total, Sitaare Zameen Par has now surpassed the lifetime collections of these popular Hindi films:
This achievement further solidifies Aamir Khan’s box office credibility following a gap since his last big hit.
Internationally, the film has also performed well, collecting an estimated ₹54 crores gross overseas. This takes the worldwide total to approximately ₹238 crores gross.
In doing so, it has beaten Raid 2 (₹237.50 crores) and is now the third-highest Bollywood grosser of 2025, trailing only behind:
Despite facing a sharper drop in the third week, Sitaare Zameen Par has shown strong staying power and managed to cross major box office milestones both domestically and globally. As it inches closer to ₹250 crores worldwide, all eyes are now on whether it can continue the momentum in the coming weeks.
