Ayushmann Khurrana’s latest romantic horror comedy Thamma continues its strong run at the box office, showing impressive growth during its third weekend. The film, also starring Rashmika Mandanna, has now entered the coveted ₹200 crore club worldwide, marking Ayushmann’s third double-century grosser after Andhadhun and Badhaai Ho.
During its third Friday (Day 18), Thamma experienced a slight dip in business, collecting around ₹0.80 crore in India. However, the film saw a sharp 120% jump on Saturday (Day 19), earning approximately ₹1.76 crore. With this rise, Thamma has maintained steady momentum even in its third week, proving its strong audience connection.
With a worldwide gross of ₹204.56 crore, Thamma has officially joined the elite ₹200 crore club and continues to perform well in select circuits.
After the phenomenal success of Andhadhun (₹453.8 crore) and Badhaai Ho (₹218.82 crore), Thamma becomes Ayushmann Khurrana’s third film to surpass the ₹200 crore mark globally. It is now his third-highest-grossing film, and though it might not reach Badhaai Ho’s total, it’s another major milestone in Ayushmann’s career.
With a total of ₹204.56 crore worldwide, Thamma has overtaken Akshay Kumar’s Pad Man (₹203.05 crore). It is now among the top-performing Bollywood films of 2025. Moreover, the film is set to surpass Ra.One (₹205.3 crore) and Kesari (₹205.54 crore) soon, further climbing the list of all-time worldwide grossers.
The film’s unique blend of horror, humor, and heartfelt emotion has clearly struck a chord with audiences. Coupled with Ayushmann Khurrana’s strong performance and Rashmika Mandanna’s charm, Thamma has proven that experimental storytelling can still draw huge crowds when executed with conviction.
