Ustaad Bhagat Singh is gearing up for its theatrical release on March 19, with its Day 1 advance booking numbers offering a mixed picture at the Indian box office. Despite a slower-than-expected response, the film has managed to sell over 2.67 lakh tickets, aiming for a ₹10 crore gross in pre-sales.

Day 1 Advance Booking Performance

As per the latest updates, Ustaad Bhagat Singh has sold more than 2.67 lakh tickets across India for its opening day. The film has grossed approximately ₹6.75 crore through advance booking so far, excluding blocked seats.

With one more day remaining before release, the film is expected to touch the ₹10 crore mark in Day 1 advance booking collections.

Impact of Dhurandhar 2: The Revenge

The film is facing strong competition from Dhurandhar 2: The Revenge, which has created massive buzz across markets, including Telugu-speaking regions.

Despite this, the presence of Pawan Kalyan is helping the film maintain its ground and attract a dedicated fan base.

Screen Count and Overall Buzz

Ustaad Bhagat Singh has secured an impressive release scale with around 3,600 shows across India. While such a wide release typically indicates strong box office potential, the current pre-sales suggest that overall buzz is slightly underwhelming compared to expectations.

In isolation, the numbers are decent, but given the star power involved, trade analysts consider them below par.

State-Wise Advance Booking Collection

Among all states, Andhra Pradesh is leading the advance booking charts with ₹3.96 crore gross. Telangana follows with ₹2.25 crore gross, while Karnataka has contributed around ₹42 lakh so far.

These figures highlight that the film’s core strength lies in its home market, where fan following remains strong.

Comparison with The Raja Saab

Currently, The Raja Saab holds the record for the highest Day 1 pre-sales in 2026 for Tollywood with ₹15.31 crore gross.

Ustaad Bhagat Singh is unlikely to surpass this benchmark and is expected to secure the second position in terms of advance booking performance this year.

Cast, Crew, and Budget

Ustaad Bhagat Singh is directed by Harish Shankar and produced by Naveen Yerneni and Yalamanchili Ravi Shankar under the banner of Mythri Movie Makers.

The film features Sree Leela, Raashii Khanna, and R. Parthiban in key roles alongside Pawan Kalyan.

Reportedly made on a budget of ₹150 crore, the film carries high expectations at the box office.
