Hrithik Roshan and Jr NTR’s much-awaited action drama War 2 has had a mixed journey at the box office so far. While the film started strong with massive collections during the Independence Day holiday, it witnessed a noticeable dip on Day 3, slowing down its momentum in the domestic market.

Box Office Ranking of 2025

Despite facing criticism for not matching huge pre-release expectations, War 2 has managed to enter the list of Bollywood’s top grossers of 2025. With ₹143 crore, it has already gone past Akshay Kumar’s Sky Force (₹134.93 crore) to claim the 7th spot.

Trade analysts expect the film to cross Aamir Khan’s Sitaare Zameen Par (₹166.58 crore) and Ajay Devgn’s Raid 2 (₹179.3 crore) within the next couple of days, which will push it up to the Top 5 highest-grossing Hindi films of 2025.

Bollywood’s Top 10 Grossers of 2025 (so far)

  1. Chhaava – ₹615.39 crore
  2. Saiyaara – ₹331.52 crore
