Coolie, directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj and marking Rajinikanth’s 171st film, has recorded outstanding advance sales. According to Sacnilk data, the film has made around Rs 14 crore in pre-sales across Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, and Kannada versions with approximately 6 lakh tickets sold. Including block bookings (reserved seats), the total is close to Rs 20 crore. Notably, the Tamil version leads with massive sales, supporting strong early enthusiasm.
War 2 Advance Sales Lag Behind
War 2, directed by Ayan Mukerji and starring Hrithik Roshan, Jr NTR, and Kiara Advani, registered Rs 2.08 crore from about 57,000 tickets sold in Hindi, Tamil, and Telugu. Including block bookings, War 2‘s total advance sales in India stand at Rs 5.72 crore, considerably less than Coolie‘s figures. The film is part of Yash Raj Films’ spy thriller universe, but its early numbers are below expectations compared to YRF’s previous hits like War (2019), Pathaan (2023), and Tiger 3 (2023).
