Karthi-led Sardar 2 witnessed a decline in its box office earnings on Tuesday as the Tamil spy-action thriller entered its sixth day in theatres. The film is currently going through the important weekday phase, where maintaining audience interest becomes crucial for its theatrical run.
Sardar 2 is the sequel to the 2022 film Sardar and has Karthi appearing in two roles.
Sardar 2 Day 6 Box Office Collection
According to Sacnilk data cited in the report, Sardar 2 has earned Rs 40 lakh in India net collection on Day 6 so far. The film is currently being screened across 2,243 shows.
With the addition of Tuesday's earnings, the movie's total India net collection has reached Rs 13.50 crore, while its India gross collection stands at Rs 15.82 crore.
The Tamil version has contributed Rs 27 lakh from 1,180 shows, recording 14.0% occupancy. Meanwhile, the Telugu version has collected Rs 12 lakh from 775 shows, with 15.0% occupancy, as per the report.
Sardar 2 Day-Wise Box Office Performance
The film opened its theatrical journey with Rs 4.50 crore on Day 1. However, its collection declined on the second day, when it earned Rs 2.45 crore.
On Day 3, the film collected Rs 2.20 crore, before witnessing an improvement on Day 4 with earnings of Rs 2.45 crore.
The collection then fell to Rs 1.50 crore on Day 5. On the sixth day, Sardar 2 has so far added Rs 39 lakh to its India net total.

Karthi Plays Dual Roles in Sardar 2
Directed by P S Mithran, Sardar 2 is a Tamil spy-action thriller and continues the story from the 2022 film Sardar. Karthi takes on dual roles in the movie, portraying Agent Sardar Chandra Bose and Agent Vijay Prakash.
S J Suryah plays Black Dagger, while Rajisha Vijayan returns as Indhrani.
